The Varsity took the field next with Captain Brigid Morrison at center with 7 direct possessions on the draw. Brigid aimed her rudder at the Sharks net and scored 5 goals for the Navs with 2 assists and 6 additional shots on goal. Little sis Ciara Morrison followed suit with 4 goals for West! Captain Sarah Walman also scored 4 for the Navs with 4 assists and 1 additional shot on goal. Freshman Sophie Cook took her turn at center with 3 direct possessions on the draw, scoring 3 goals for West. Captain Chloe Bass also scored 1 for the Navs with one assist. Olivia Noonan also put one in the net for the Navs with 3 additional shots on goal. Rachel Kilduff (1 SOG), Sinead Dolan, Taylor Vasta and Sarah Gavin worked relentlessly at midfield to keep the Sharks at Bay and force turnovers. Gabi Boucher, Julianna Foresteire, Kerry O'Brien and Isabella Sweeney played amazing defense and shut out the Sharks. One of the highlights of the game was sophomore Goalie Bri Sigel with 11 saves in net! It was Bri's best game so far and she made some key save against the Shark attack! The Final Score was 18-6 Sturgis West and our record is now 4-3.
